The lightweight face is thicker in the middle and progressively thinner at the edges, resulting in a more consistent ball speed, maximum distance and increased forgiveness across the club face. The square Nike PowerBow design strategically positions weight low and to the perimeter. The resulting high MOI and low GC produce a very forgiving and stable head at impact.
To maximise the performance by flex of their SasQuatch Sumo Squared Fairway, Nike employed Mitsubishi to fit their high MOI fairway with their Diamana Yellow Board Shafts. Produced for their Tour quality, these shafts are weighted specifically to give players optimum distance and accuracy. Meanwhile a Nike Monorail Sole design makes it easy to hit this forgiving fairway with all kinds of lies for maximum versatility.
