TaylorMade RAC MB TP Forged irons. New for TaylorMade's 2007 line-up, the RAC MB TP Forged irons are a variation on the original MB as used by numerous TaylorMade staff players. The RAC MB TP's muscle-back design is engineered with minimal offset and a high centre of gravity for outstanding workability and the low, controllable ball flight that many Tour Professionals favour. Enlarged, second-generation RAC feel pockets promote softer feel and sound, and the milled face and grooves deliver a consistent spin-rate and trajectory. The RAC MB TP irons feature a new Tour Satin finish which combines enhanced glare reduction with excellent durability. The process involves using a rough surface to brush the head, applying nickel chrome, then brushing the head again. The finish created by this brush-chrome-brush process reduces more glare than TaylorMade's previous satin finishes. The Tour-configured sole with specially-ground leading edge and softened trailing edge helps the clubhead glide smoothly through and out of the turf
