Common to both are: The Custom Tuning Port (CTP), whose walls control clubface vibration to improved feel and feedback. The Notched Hosel, which is not visible at address, enables Ping to control the connection of the hosel to the clubhead. The result is an optically pleasing, smooth transition between the hosel and clubhead that can be precisely calibrated for loft and lie. The Flat Top Hosel increases the cross-sectional area of the shaft that is in contact with the hosel where the shaft enters the clubhead. This design reduces shaft stress for improved feel. What differentiates the two models is the size of the clubhead, the offset and the bounce. This Blade model is designed for players who prefer a smaller head with less offset and bounce, which gives them the ability to shape and control their shots.
